Exhibition ‘Modernisms. Venezia Giulia between Art Nouveau and Art Deco’

Description

This exhibition is an attempt to provide an overview of art – or rather, the arts – in Venezia Giulia, with a focus also on Fiume and Dalmatia from the early 20th century to the 1930s. It offers a 360-degree view of architecture, sculpture, decoration, painting, illustration, applied arts, crafts and “costume”, seeking out the time, the artist and the work, and encountering not only those who were born, lived and created in this area, but also those who found fortune elsewhere and never returned, and who gave little or nothing to Venezia Giulia. Furthermore, the exhibition also features other realities and other geniuses from other places who produced works for our land.
The exhibition will remain open until 1st February 2026, every day from 10.30am to 12.30pm and from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
