Exhibition: “Faces of the 20th Century”

The faces depicted are those of various cultural figures from the 20th century, whom the artist interprets through her own original expressive language: collages of tiny coloured pieces cut from magazines which, through their chromatic harmony, capture the faces, the psychology and the context of the figures portrayed.
The paintings on display in this exhibition present a sort of ‘gallery’ of figures from 20th-century culture: Hemingway, Pasolini, Maria Callas, Picasso, Gina Lollobrigida, Greta Garbo, Mastroianni, Monica Vitti, Herbert von Karajan, Ornella Vanoni, Alain Delon
