Visiting the cellars on the weekend of the 26th -27th April (open from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.), you will have the opportunity to taste, as well as Refosco di Faedis, the entire Faedis wine production. Having lunch or dinner in the various restaurants, farm establishments and trattorie participating in the initiative, you will get the opportunity to taste menus or dishes that have been prepared to enhance pairing with Refosco di Faedis to the full.
From 1800 onwards, Refosco di Faedis has always been recorded in studies and essays on Friulian vineyards. Here, they describe those characteristics that are still present today, particularly in terms of the approach towards ageing.
