48th Settembre Musicale: combining identity and variety, tradition and innovation

For several years now, as it approaches its half-century of history, Settembre Musicale has offered a highly structured and varied programme, and the 48th edition is no exception.
The setting is the splendid Trieste Cathedral, with its majestic Mascioni opus 345 organ (1922), which traditionally plays the leading role.
