The route starts from Nova Gorica moving along the cycle path leading to the tunnel under the Kostanjevica monastery and continues to Šempeter pri Gorici where it is possible to admire a private collection dedicated to the Great War. Continuing towards Laze, the path leading to the top of the Sveti Ot hill is taken, on whose summit it is possible to admire a monument dedicated to the events that took place in this area in the 20th century. The twelve Italian cemeteries present in this area were dismantled and the remains transferred to the Ossuary of Oslavia. From the Sveti Ot hill, the route continues towards Bukovica and the Vipava river (Vipacco), where, in Renče, it is possible to visit the health museum “Renče 1914–1918”. Finally, the Open-Air Museum of Vinišće is reached and the path continues towards the Peace Monument of Cerje, near Lokvica, and the headquarters of the “Walk of Peace” Visitor Center as well as the final destination of the stage.
