Discover the authentic joy of the grape harvest at La Viarte Winery in Prepotto, nestled in the heart of Friuli’s Colli Orientali. This experience is open to everyone—even those who have never picked a single grape. All you need is curiosity and the desire to be amazed.
Among golden vineyards and the scents of late summer, you’ll live a truly special moment, immersed in nature and tradition. In a warm, safe, and intimate atmosphere, you’ll take part in the grape picking, guided by the winery’s passionate team who will share their knowledge with simplicity and enthusiasm.
After the harvest, the journey continues in the cellar, where you will visit selected areas (as the actual harvest will be in full swing), followed by a tasting of 3 wines paired with a platter of local cured meats and cheeses, enjoyed in our charming portico overlooking the vineyards—weather permitting.

Weather-dependent: the program may change depending on weather and ongoing work in the vineyard and winery. In case of heavy rain or strong winds, the activity will be postponed.
Provided equipment: hat, scissors, and buckets.
What to bring: comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, long trousers, and a windbreaker jacket.
Group size: maximum of 8 participants.
Age requirement: 18+ only; children are not allowed.
Booking: required at least 7 days in advance, or subject to availability up to the day before.
