Description
Our touristic grape-harvesting experience is a unique opportunity for visitors to discover the process of grape harvesting first-hand and to actively participate in this ancient wine-making tradition. You will be welcomed by Renza, Franco and Alberto, who will guide you through the vineyards, explaining the grape varieties planted in our vineyard and sharing their knowledge of local viticulture with you.
Meeting time 9.30 a.m.
Cost € 30/person; children € 20 (with fruit juice instead of wine).
Program
9:30–9:45 AM – Meeting point for grape harvesters at the ELIO farm of VENICA FRANCO, located in Grupignano, Cividale del Friuli (UD), at Via Premariacco No. 104.
9:45 AM – Brief introduction of the winery by the owner and winemaker, Franco.
10:00 AM – Start of vineyard activities under the supervision and guidance of the winery staff.
By 11:30 AM – End of the vineyard activities.
Afterwards, a traditional social gathering with all participants will follow, featuring a guided tasting of the winery’s wines accompanied by local cured meats, cheeses, and bread.

The fee includes:
- Gloves and hat
- A visit to the cellar
- A guided wine tasting experience with 4 wines paired with local cured meats, cheeses and bread.
The grape harvest is open to adults and children (please let us know if you plan to visit us with your dog)

The program is subject to weather conditions. In case of rain or strong winds, the activity will be postponed to the following Saturday.
Comfortable clothing is recommended, including closed-toe shoes and long pants. The winery will provide all necessary equipment for the vineyard activity.
