The FIS Women’s Alpine Ski World Cup Returns to Tarvisio After 15 Years

After a fifteen-year absence, Tarvisio is set to once again host the Women’s Alpine Ski World Cup. For the fourth time in its history, the renowned resort in Friuli Venezia Giulia will be part of the prestigious 2025/2026 World Cup circuit.
In 2026, the highly anticipated speed events — traditionally held in Cortina d’Ampezzo — will take place on the spectacular Di Prampero slope, bringing Tarvisio back into the global spotlight of alpine skiing.
The Tarvisio Ski World Cup Organizing Committee, together with local authorities and stakeholders, is already working hard to coordinate every organizational and operational detail of the event.
From January 17 to 18, 2026, the world’s fastest female skiers will compete in an unforgettable weekend of top-level competition, enriched by exclusive side events and celebrations that will energize the entire region.
Tarvisio is ready to offer a unique experience where sport, passion, and local tradition come together to create a truly memorable World Cup stage.

On January 17 and 18, 2026, the races will take place in Valcanale, accompanied by a series of side events including the debut of the digital assistant “Neve.ai” and the educational video game “Super (FV)G”, which allows players to ski in 3D on Mount Lussari.
