Pian dei Ciclamini is located in Alta Val Torre, in the heart of the Julian
Prealps Natural Park and the MAB Unesco reserve, at the foot of the Musi mountains, about 40 km from Udine. The refuge is accessible and sustainable, catering to children, hikers, pilgrims, climbers, cyclists, motorcyclists, and RV travelers. Traditional Friulian dishes are prepared for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and various courses such as sport climbing, yoga, and Forest Bathing are organized.
High-altitude trails (Cammino Celeste, Natural Trail of the Musi Valley, Passo Tanamea, Via Alpina) and the CAI 757 via ferrata from Bivacco Brollo to the Crest of Monte Musi are possible.
At the nearby Ciclamini cliff it is also possible to access equipped climbing.
Accessibility: By car, motorcycle, and bicycle from Tarcento: proceed towards Alta Val Torre in the direction of Uccea, passing Pradielis and Musi, and you will find the refuge along the SR646 state road on the left, just before the Tanamea Pass, heading towards Bovec (SLO).
Accessibility: By car, motorcycle, and bicycle from Resia: take the SR646 towards Uccea and proceed towards Italy, making sure to check the seasonal opening of the road.
