Remunerative loop hike among pastures and grassy ridges, discovering two picturesque glacial lakes nestled at the foot of Mt. Crostis.
Easy loop hike leading to two small lakes of glacial origin, located just below the grassy ridge that connects Mount Crostis to Zoufplan. Fed by melting snow, the Tarond and Crasulina lakes are set in an environment of great scenic value, offering striking views in an intact and scenic natural setting. Along the CAI 154 trail, you can admire many valuable floristic species, wide views of the Carnic mountain and some remains of war structures dating back to World War I.
The Malga Chiadinas hut offers food and overnight service during open periods.

Hike not to be undertaken during uncertain weather (the upper part may be exposed to lightning and the steep terrain may become very slippery with rains). Some parts of the trail may be difficult to spot at times when the vegetation is more lush (especially in parts not maintained by CAI).
There are almost no water sources along the loop; on particularly hot days consider having an adequate amount of water resources with you.
Normal hiking equipment, depending on the season.
