Asphalt route from Hinter d’Olbe, continues from 2B, climbs to Rio Temerle, mixed forest towards Casera Gerona and reaches Casera Pieltinis, at the foot of Monte Torondon.
The route, entirely on asphalt road, starts shortly after the locality of Hinter d’Olbe and basically constitutes the continuation of the main road of Val Novarza, already included in route 2B. At the junction on Rio Temerle, turn right and climb to the bed of the Pieltinis stream; once crossed, climb through a mixed forest where the presence of larches progressively increases; exiting the forest there is a junction and turn left towards Casera Gerona. After a stretch of a couple of kilometers with a slight ascent, along the southern side of Monte Torondon, you reach Casera Pieltinis: the wide basin on which it lies is covered by a lush grassy and shrubby layer with widespread green alder formations in less grazed areas.
