A jewel enclosed in the marvellous treasure chest of the Alta Val Torre
It is the largest contact cavity between two different types of rock which may be visited in Europe. Its galleries, furrowed by and underground torrent, wind their way for 8 kilometres, of which one part is illuminated and easily visited; it is possible to admire numerous eccentric stalactites, which seem to challenge the gravity laws.
There are two types of guided tours, lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes or 2 hours and 30 minutes. The temperature inside the cave is all year round about 11° C.
