Saint Anthony was himself first a pilgrim, crossing Italy and Europe bringing his message of faith and devotion.
Retracing the Path of Saint Anthony means reaching those places where he was a protagonist and that were marked by his charismatic passage, but also experiencing that spiritual pilgrimage characteristic of the Franciscan order.
The Path is an expression of “slow tourism,” a rediscovered concept both for the religious and the secular world. That is, a form of tourism that, embracing slowness, lives nature in a sustainable way, rediscovers local traditions, and floods the eyes with the beauty of nature, landscape, art, and history.
