10 thousand steps to health FVG - SAN GIORGIO DI NOGARO

The route is about 3.5 km long and starts from the park of Villa Dora, near the public parking lot on via Aquileia and the village of San Giorgio di Nogaro. The route then winds through the area that was once the villa’s park. It begins along the Corno river in an area where its course receives the waters of the tributary called “Corgnolizza”. After crossing the park along the river, a wooden footbridge leads to a short path on the sidewalk to reach the crossing of the former SS14 road, clearly marked. From here the path continues in the pond area. From here you find yourself again in the middle of nature following an itinerary that runs mostly in a straight line and leads beyond the small woods and through the plain with the Corno river a little further to the right.

The direction is from south to north, against the current of the river. Upon reaching the gates of the nearby municipality of Porpetto, the path is retraced, from north to south, to return to the starting point at Villa Dora.
