10 thousand steps of health FVG - TOLMEZZO

The first piece of the Bût trail is about 1.5 km one way, starting from a convenient parking lot at the edge of Borgo Sfleus. It begins by climbing above the embankment of the Bût stream and then continues toward the bridge that separates the hamlet of Caneva from the main town of Tolmezzo and, past the latter, continues, still on the embankment until it reaches an area dedicated to equipped rest near the sports field, where the latter can also be used for mobility and stretching exercises. The path is suitable for all people as it does not present particular difficulties. In addition, during the walk it will be possible to cross, near the bridge, the bike path that leads to Villa Santina and, near the arrival area, it will be possible to leave the main route to go on to discover several rural roads and paths that extend in the countryside of Caneva until they reach the riverbed, forming real paths, such as the one marked in the map. During the itinerary there are equipped rest stops to stop and enjoy in comfort the views offered by the Tolmezzo valley.
