For the most part, the walk retraces the railway track that, passing through Ovaro, connected the villages of Villa Santina and Comeglians. The route begins from the municipal road that climbs toward the hamlet of Cludinico, famous for its coal mine. Having crossed the Rio Furioso, it continues along a stretch overlooked by high rocky ridges. On the left is the Pieve di Santa Maria Gorto, which dominates the hamlet of Cella from above. Further up, to the right of the Pieve, you can see the Palazzo Micoli Toscano, which with its hundred windows constitutes one of the points of interest at the entrance to the valley. Continuing on the path, on the right, there is a nice little waterfall and, on the left, a short path that descends under the bridge over the Rio di Runchs River. Further on, after the drinking fountain, you cross a railroad bridge. Then continue uphill to the right until you reach a mule track lined with dry stone walls. After crossing the Rio Canonica, you meet the first houses of the village. Along the path immersed in meadows, you reach the Parish Church of the Holy Trinity. From here the road climbs to the hamlets of Lenzone and Liariis, where the ascent to Mount Zoncolan begins. Abandoning the short asphalt section, after the Tourist-Sports Equipment Center, descend, on the left, on a wide path until you reach the hamlet of Chialina and reconnect with the former railroad track at the level of the council houses. The path continues on embankment just upstream of the built-up area and shortly crosses another railway bridge beside which begins the "Life Path" consisting of gymnastic equipment and related signs. The path ends at the height of the last railroad bridge from which, reversing the direction of travel, you can re-enter Ovaro.
