The loop trail, with a total length of 3,300 m, is suitable for anyone, including families with children, and allows you to visit a cross-section of the area starting from the town center, skirting the forest that covers the nearby hills and plunging for a stretch into the countryside on the edge of the town. The route, which can be used during all times of the year, is mostly flat, with minimal elevation changes.
The start and finish of the circuit are set in the square in front of the town hall in the center of Budoia. From the square, passing the town hall building and the school, we head toward the library, and through a small path we reach the edge of the forest near the start of the well-known Gor nature trail. For its first section, the route runs at the foot of the Santa Lucia hills (north side), along a bicycle and pedestrian path, and then continues downhill until it turns onto Doneal Street and plunges for a short stretch into the area closer to the Budoise countryside. Along this stretch, the passage is interdicted to cars and it is therefore possible to enjoy a quiet and relaxing environment.
Arriving at the crossroads, now in the vicinity of the artisanal area, the route goes up to the left toward the heart of the village, keeping still for about 1 km on a bicycle/pedestrian path. When you come to a small traffic circle, continue by turning left until, crossing a residential area, it rejoins the bicycle/pedestrian path of Via Cialata already traveled at the beginning. From here it takes a few minutes to reach the starting area, closing the itinerary.
