The route begins in Basiliano, at Villa Zamparo, current home of the municipal library. Through some of the streets of the center you reach the entrance of the bike path in Viale Carnia and continue to the school pole until the intersection with Via dell'Asilo, access to Vissandone. From here, on the right, you can admire the "Castelliere di Variano," which stands on San Leonardo Hill, site of a primitive village datable to the Middle Bronze Age.
Crossing the village of Vissandone in an east-west direction, we reach Via Trento, where we find the votive wayside shrine "La Statue."
From here we turn left onto Via dei Prati Nuovi, which on an inter-country road leads us to Villaorba. North of the settlement we find the small church of Santa Maria and Sant'Orsola. Limitrofo the archaeological site "Grovis," which conceals the ruins of an ancient and extensive Roman rustic settlement. Arriving in Villaorba, continue south through the town square to Via Federico di Castello and then the alley road on the right. Arriving close to the railway line, we cross the underpass placed on the provincial road. Continuing south we reach Basagliapenta where we find the archaeological excavations of the small church of San Giorgio.
We turn left onto Via G. Tiepolo and then onto Via A. Mistruzzi, which will lead us toward Basiliano, on Via S. Pellico, near the former Lesa barracks. Through the railway underpass we will find ourselves again near Villa Zamparo, our arrival point.
