Starting from the 2025/2026 winter season, pursuant to Decree Law No. 96 of June 30, 2025, converted into Law No. 119 of August 8, 2025, it is mandatory, regardless of age, to wear a compliant protective helmet when practicing alpine skiing, snowboarding, telemark skiing, sledding, and tobogganing.
The person responsible for the violation is subject to an administrative fine ranging from €100.00 to €150.00.
In case of repeated violation, in addition to the administrative pecuniary sanction, the lift access pass may also be withdrawn or suspended for a period of one to three days
According to Legislative Decree No. 40/2021, anyone using alpine ski slopes: must have a valid insurance policy covering their civil liability for damages or injuries caused to third parties;
is prohibited from skiing while intoxicated or under the influence of toxic substances.
