What to do at high altitude

Some of the proposed activities require adequate physical and technical preparation as they take place in a high mountain context. Weather forecasts must be checked in advance, and the itineraries evaluated based on your experience. We recommend tackling these excursions accompanied by professional guides to enjoy these environments in the name of safety.

The Zoncolan is a mountain that is part of the history of the cycling world thanks to its numerous stages of the Giro d’Italia. But the Kaiser, as enthusiasts call it, reserves all-round entertainment and points of interest for lovers of the summer mountains. Numerous hiking trails follow the peak at 1700 metres. The arrival point of the modern ski lift that starts from the village of Ravascletto also allows you to bring your beloved bicycle. Enjoy challenging trekking to the surrounding peaks, routes at high altitude for MTB E-Bike and racing bikes, trips among the genuine tastes of the products of the malga in the surrounding pastures or just take a  walk to the shelters where the typical tasty dishes of Carnia are never lacking. Zoncolan is synonymous with fun for all tastes!
