"The trail for everyone"

Trail accessible to everyone

After admiring the evocative landscape characterized by the steep mountainsides of the Julian Prealps, you enter the forest adjacent to the Park Visitor Center and follow a ring path, equipped with educational panels. In this way visitors can learn about the history, fauna and flora of the protected area and in particular the Musi Mountains that overlook Pian dei Ciclamini.

The path is suitable for everyone, both for the modest slopes and a track suitable for strollers and wheelchairs, and for the presence of guide rope and wheel guard that facilitate the orientation of visually impaired people. Information tables along the route with special tactile sections and explanations in Braille characters.

The Park of the Julian Prealps has also adopted the modern Sesamonet system. This advanced technology allows the visually impaired to walk the route with a smart stick that transmits position signals continuously. By means of a dedicated mobile phone, the user can receive information from an audioguide relating to the place where he is at that time.
