25-26 Winter Calendar

2025, 6th-7th-8th December

Last updated: 4h, Dec.2025
Next update: 11st, Dec.2025

Starting from December 6th, skiing will resume on the slopes of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The region is ready to inaugurate the new winter season with the partial opening of the lifts in most of its ski resorts: Piancavallo, Sappada-Forni Avoltri, Forni di Sopra-Sauris, Ravascletto-Zoncolan, and Tarvisio will open on Saturday, while Sella Nevea will be open to the public from December 13th.
Thus begins the skiing season in Friuli Venezia Giulia during the “long” weekend of December 6th, 7th, and 8th: from December 6th to 19th, low-season rates will apply, and on these days, in addition to the lower price, a further 30 percent discount will be granted in the resorts where less than 40 percent of the slopes are open. You can view detailed skipass prices here.

Specifically, the mountain areas will open as follows:
In Piancavallo, the Daini and Genzianella conveyor lifts will be open, along with the corresponding beginner area and slope, the Caprioli lift with the Caprioli 3 slope, Bambi, Busa with the Sauc skiweg, and Tremol. The Casere chairlift – with the Casere, Casere 2, and Casere 3 slopes – will also be open, as well as the Busa Grande chairlift with its namesake slope, and the Sole chairlift with its slope. The Tremol chairlift will also be operating, serving the lower section of the Nazionale slope.
From December 6th, the lifts will remain open every day (except for the Caprioli area and the Busa Grande chairlift, which will be open from the 6th to the 8th and then again the following weekend). On the same day, the alpine coaster and Nevelandia will also open for the season.
In Sappada, starting from December 6th, the Pian dei Nidi chairlift will be open, with its slope and skiweg, as well as the Eiben Col dei Mughi chairlift with the Nazionale slope, and the Campetto1 ski lift and slope.
In Forni di Sopra, from December 6th, the Davost area will be open every day with the Campo Scuola, Davost, and Primi Passi conveyor lifts and their slopes, as well as the Davost ski lift with its slope. From Saturday the 6th to Monday the 8th, in the Varmost area, the Varmost 1 and Varmost 2 chairlifts will be open, with the Varmost 2 and Senas slopes. During the long Immaculate Conception weekend, the Fantasy Park will also be open; it will then close during the week and reopen on the 13th and 14th, and from December 20th it will be operating daily. Two of the eleven kilometers of the Tagliamento cross-country ski trail will be open.
In Sauris, the skiing season will begin with the opening, from the 6th to the 8th, of the conveyor lift and the beginner slope in Sauris di Sopra.
In Ravascletto/Zoncolan, from December 6th to 8th, the Monte Zoncolan Funifor and the Valvan, Cuel d’Ajar, and Giro d’Italia chairlifts will be open, serving the Zoncolan 3 (upper and lower), Zoncolan 4, and Goles slopes, along with the related skiwegs: Goles, Cima Zoncolan–Goles, Arvenis 1, and Zoncolan 4. The Lausc and Cima Zoncolan conveyor lifts with their beginner slopes will also open on Saturday.
In Tarvisio, ski enthusiasts will find the Lussari gondola open, giving access to the upper section of the Di Prampero slope, as well as the Priesnig, Duca d’Aosta, Florianca, Hütte, and Prasnig chairlifts, serving the Florianca, Foresta, and Malga slopes. In the lower area, the beginner slopes and the Duca d’Aosta area will be open, served by the Tschopfen and Duca d’Aosta chairlifts and the Campo Scuola conveyor lift. In the Priesnig area, the Valle 1 and Valle 2 conveyor lifts and their slopes will be open. Starting Saturday, the alpine coaster and the Angelo Fun Park will also open for the season.
In Sella Nevea, as mentioned, preparations are underway to open the lifts on December 13th.
