Description
From Resiutta, drive Val Resia county road 42 flanking the namesake creek. About 4km later, between a sign indicating wild animals passage and an open space (to the left), notice to the right a dirt road leading into the creek bed where you can park the car. Alternatively, you can park into the open space to the left, along the county road.
Wade across the Resia creek, following the track to some houses. A little further, begins CAI 703 trail that leads to “Casera Rio Nero”. The trail runs up the Rio Nero on the left orographic bank until crossing it over a wooden bridge.
The lower part, about ¾ of the route, starts from the bridge.
Proceeding by the upper part, after the bridge gain altitude over a scree with steep and narrow bends that walk around a promontory and a tributary. Proceed into the wood, at first uphill and then on a slight decline, where the trail approaches the creek and you can hear and see the first waterfalls. It is recommended you first step into the creek, where the bed becomes flatter, in correspondence of a spring to the left orographic bank.

Return
After the last leap. proceed on left bank to CAI 703, which you already walked during the approach.
How to read data sheet
C = rappel equipped point
AN = natural ancorage
MC = handrail
PI = halfway point
DEV = Deviation
DIS = downclimb
TB = toboga
TF = leap
The notation Dx (right) and Sx (left), relative to the rappel points, the handrail, deviations, etc., always indicate the creek orographic bank, where they are positioned. For instance, DEV Sx indicates that the deviation lays on the left bank, and not to the left of the canyoner that will face the deviation.
