Rio Lis Cladis-Lis Impresis

A suggestive creek surrounded by nature.
A long and steep approach, rewarded by a particularly spectacular and wild gorge, which is quite worth crossing, with its wonderful glimpses on the Val Raccolana, between the imposing Julian Alps peaks. The lower part presents a splendid, almost seamless series of slopes.

Downstream parking lot coordinates
46.4005, 13.3571
Upstream access
From behind the bench, proceed toward the creek until you walk across the CAI 633 trail. This climbs gently up to the brook, before becoming steep with metal cable-equipped pitches. At about 1000mt above sea level, the incline decreases. Shortly later, you can glimpse the creek bed. Abandon the trail (elevation 1050mt) and walk down the wood (steep and slippery) until you reach the bed at about 1000mt above sea level.

Exit
Shortly after the last jump, a narrow trail to the left leads un quickly back to the car.
How to read the data sheet
C = slope equipped point
AN = natural ancorage
MC = handrail
PI = halfway point
DEV = Deviation
DIS = downclimb
TB = toboga
TF = leap
The notation Dx (right) and Sx (left), relative to the slope points, the handrail, deviations, etc., always indicate the creek orographic bank, where they are positioned. For instance, DEV Sx indicates that the deviation lays on the left bank, and not to the left of the canyoner that will face the deviation.
