At the end of the GO! 2025 – Nova Gorica and Gorizia European Capital of Culture year, the city of Gorizia has established itself as one of the leading international hubs for photography thanks to an exhibition project that is extraordinary in terms of its scope and quality.
Three major exhibitions – Dove gli occhi non arrivavano (Where the eyes could not see), Back to Peace? The major exhibition on war and peace by Magnum photographers, and Tre sguardi (Three perspectives). Unpublished photographic stories for GO! 2025 – make up a unified artistic journey dedicated to the memory, history and contemporary face of this border territory.
Over 20 internationally renowned authors and more than 300 images bring to life a unique visual narrative, capable of conveying the complexity and cultural richness of the Gorizia area.
