Lusevera occupies the entire upper valley of the Torre River; in this mountainous area, part of the Julian Prealps Park, there are many important environmental and natural sites, such as the Musi Valley trail, the trail leading from Vedronza to Micotis, the sources of the Torre and Vedronza rivers, or the refuge and path leading to Pian dei Ciclamini. The history of the Chapel of the Madonna della Guardia of Pers, deeply cherished by the local people, is also evocative. Much of the local tradition is exhibited at the Lusevera Ethnographic Museum. Along the road that climbs to Musi, after crossing the Tanamea Pass, you can descend to Uccea and cross the border into Slovenia, thus accessing the upper Isonzo Valley. The Villanova Caves, populated by stalagmites and underground lakes, are also extremely attractive.
