Aquasplash: not only the beach in Lignano

It reminds us, as adults, of the slides and fun we had when we were children/youngsters, and it is fun for our children and even for us, who like to stay young at heart.

Aquasplash in Lignano Sabbiadoro, the first water park to be set up in Italy in 1985, has been open for many years but is still looking good because it is well-organised and well-kept. We spent a day there with the family among its attractions and had a very positive experience. At the end of the visit, our children came out enthusiastic ... and eager to return there!

The park has water slides of different heights and speeds, satisfying the most daring but also the least brave. Even for the youngest, there is no lack of fun with water slides to suit them, such as those in the shape of a mushroom, elephant, dinosaur, turtle or pirate ship. For those who prefer to relax, there is a whirlpool, whereas in the wave pool, at fixed times, you can have fun jumping the wave!

The offer is made complete with green areas, where you can hire beach umbrellas and deckchairs, and a bar and self-service restaurant. Finally, the novelty this year are the exhibitions, always at scheduled times, of parrots from the Caribbean and sea lions.

In short, at Aquasplash it is difficult to get bored!
