Originating in Bordeaux, Cabernet Sauvignon is at the heart of some of the most prestigious wines in the world. In Italy, it is less widespread, but in Friuli Venezia Giulia it finds its ideal environment. Its ruby red colour can evolve into garnet with age. On the nose, it is intense, with herbaceous, blueberry and raspberry notes that are enriched with vanilla and spices. It is full and velvety on the palate, especially when aged in barrels. Perfect with roasts, seasoned cheeses and goose breast.
