Latteria di Aviano
Located in the foothills of Piancavallo, Aviano since 1919, the dairy produces a vast range of cheeses using only locally sourced milk, thus ensuring that their products are all 100% Friulian. Every morning at dawn the Del Ben family sets to work producing their unique products. They shape the curd by hand like sculptors, producing an array of delicious products from ricotta to yoghurt, some infused with beer and wine, and the inimitable Formadi Frant. All this is done using innovative equipment whilst remaining faithful to tradition.
