Join Gradis'ciutta staff for the most important time for a winery: the grape harvest!
For some hours you will step into the shoes of a Collio producer and discover the secrets of creating some of Italy's most celebrated wines. From the selection of the grape clusters to the method of harvesting them correctly to the delicate oenological procedure that begins when the grapes arrive in the cellar. Moreover, at Gradis'ciutta we work 100% organic: the oenologist will explain what this means!
But first, plunge into country life and enjoy being surrounded by the festive spirit of this wonderful time of year.
Hours from 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m.

Provisional timetable (to be confirmed with our guests)
- meeting at Borgo Gradi'sciutta' (address Loc. Gardisciuta 14 - Gorizia) and then reaching the vineyard selected by the oenologist on foot
- explanation of techniques
- grape harvest
- harvester's break in the middle of the vine rows
- transfer (with your means of transport) to the winery (address: Loc. Giasbana, 32/a - S. Floriano del Collio)
- visit the cellar and barrique cellar
- tasting of 2 glasses of the variety harvested in the vineyard from the current and previous years in combination with local cheeses
This experience is a perfect fit for wine and oenology enthusiasts, but also for families looking to enjoy a few hours in the open air, or for groups of friends or co-workers who are looking to spend some quality time together.
This experience is available in Italian, English and Slovene.

Harvesting activities will be organised according to availability and the possibility of performing the activity depending on the work being carried out in the vineyards.
