Itinerary runs between the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia regions following the course of the Meschio River.
An itinerary to discover the waters of the Meschio and Livenza rivers. Sacile is a city rich in water and here is the end point of this route, which begins in Vittorio Veneto and on secondary roads and bike paths follows the Meschio River quite closely. From Vittorio Veneto it follows the scenic bicycle/pedestrian route to San Giacomo di Veglia, from here it crosses the villages of Mescolino, Pinidello, where the Meschio welcomes its tributary Friga, Codignano and Ponte della Muda, to cross the border with Friuli Venezia Giulia and pass through Vistorta and Topaligo before returning to Sacile. The route can be traveled in both directions.
For those who wish, it is possible to return to Vittorio Veneto or Sacile by bike+train service with change in Conegliano.
