Cycling route among historic residences and the Risorgive Park of Codroipo, ideal for a refreshing break immersed in nature.
Itinerary
From Codroipo, cycle towards Villa Manin, a large Venetian villa where Napoleon stayed during the final phase of the Italian Campaign and signed with the Austrians the Treaty that marked the end of the Republic of Venice (1797). Cross the Corno stream and arrive at San Martino, where the Carriage Museum displays in the prestigious 18th-century Villa Kechler the private collection of Antonio Lauda, composed of 44 carriages dating from the 19th and 20th centuries. After passing the villages of Santa Marizza and Gradiscutta, join the Tagliamento Cycle Route at Straccis and finally cycle back to Codroipo along the riverbank.
Food & wine
Montasio cheese is a true child of time made with love, effort, and passion. Cooked paste, semi-hard, and with a characteristic soft and delicate flavor, it is a balanced cheese, without excess. Try pairing it with Ribolla Gialla brut, which has a fine and persistent perlage. RECOMMENDED DISH: Herb omelette
The route is suitable for families with children aged 10 and over.

Circular route mostly on paved and flat roads; good dirt tracks in parts. More than half of the route runs on a cycle path, but pay attention on some stretches in Codroipo that run on busier roads. The route is partially signposted.
