The route unfolds in the Natisone Valleys, in the easternmost part of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The itinerary starts in Cividale del Friuli, a ducal city that is a UNESCO heritage site, and heads north-east, to conquer Mount Matajur, which, at 1641 metres, is the symbol of this area, on the border between Italy and Slovenia. We reach Pulfero, Montemaggiore and Tribil Inferiore, as far as Trivio. Heading south, we continue towards Prepotto and Spessa Alta to return to Cividale del Friuli.

After pedalling 96 kilometres, it is possible to stop or put yourself to the test in an incredible challenge: start off again towards Masarolis after leaving behind the towns of Faedis, Attimis and Porzus. The route covers 142 kilometres, with an altitude difference of 2300 metres, and ends in Cividale del Friuli. The route follows the route of the 'Corsa per Haiti' solidarity race, a decades-old event organised to raise funds.
