Gravel route with steep inclines from Sacile to the Cansiglio plateau through Piancavallo for breathtaking views. On clear days you can catch a glimpse of Venice.
The route travels along part of the Pedemontana FVG3 cycle route and then the "Venezia delle Nevi" road. This route with steep inclines leads to the Cansiglio ridge road; from here you reach the Cansiglio forest, which is a vast karst basin located at an altitude of 900-1000 meters and bordered by a mountain cordon. You pedal among beech, silver fir and spruce trees with wonderful vantage points over the plain and, on clear days, the Adriatic Sea. You start and return to Sacile and ride through Caneva. With a short detour at the end of the climb from Budoia, with a short detour of half a kilometer, you arrive in the center of Piancavallo, a well-known tourist resort. The scenic route can start directly from the resort of Piancavallo, which can be reached in the summer months by a Bicibus that leaves from Pordenone with a stop in Aviano.
