The route is an opportunity to visit all the beaches of Lignano and Bibione and their hinterland. From spring to autumn there is a ferry service with bike racks between Lignano Riviera and Bibione-Punta Tagliamento. Along the itinerary through Friuli Venezia GIulia and Veneto, one encounters naturalistic landscapes such as the Bosco delle Baseleghe and the Foci del Tagliamento nature reserve in Bibione, as well as the canals of the lagoon around Lignano. Not far from the route is the Punta Verde Zoo, which is an ideal place for a break surrounded by nature. Along the way, you can stop in the center of Lignano Pineta designed by Marcello D'Olivo in the shape of a spiral or in Hemingway Park, or admire the mosaics that decorate the entrances to the beach.
