The cycle and pedestrian path built in the area between the Versa and Judrio rivers makes it possible to enjoy a half-day bicycle ride in the countryside, surrounded by the panorama of the Collio and the Julian Alps in the background. Starting from Cormons, cross the Judrio river at Molin Novo and head towards the Medea hill, which stands solitary in the plain: at the top of it, you can see a grandiose monument, the Ara Pacis Mundi, erected in 1951 in memory of the Fallen of all wars and containing the soil of all the war cemeteries throughout Italy. We reach the base of the hill at Medea, where there is a road leading to the summit. We continue through the flourishing Friulian countryside, which here is also cultivated with vines and will be the setting for the stretch between Medea, Mariano del Friuli and Cormons. From Fratta, we pedal under the bank of the Versa river, and even over it if we use a Mountain Bike. After passing the village of Corona, we return to the railway station of Cormons.
