FVG3d - Vineyard variant (C3V1)

The itinerary is very evocative as it unfolds among the harmonious hills between Tarcento and Cormons. The route passes through the historic centre of Cividale del Friuli, a UNESCO site, an ideal place to take a refreshing break in one of its cosy squares. Crossing the famous Ponte del Diavolo (Devil's Bridge), one can admire the crystal-clear waters of the Natisone River. Along the route you will encounter small rural villages where viticulture is fundamental to the area's economy. The hills accompany the cyclist along the entire route, surrounded by Friulian villas and small country churches. Lovers of good wine will be able to stop for wine-tasting in the various wine cellars in the area, while the more gluttonous cyclist will surely be surprised by the gastronomic specialities offered by the osterias, agritourisms and traditional restaurants.
