Route
The bicycle touring route runs through the hills, suitable for families with well-trained children 10 years and older. It starts in San Daniele del Friuli and pedals toward Comerzo, crossing the Tagliamento River. You follow the FVG6 bike path between Cornino and Pinzano, where you cross the river again on a spectacular bridge. It then climbs toward the Ragogna Mountain to San Giacomo, reaching the village of Pignano di Sopra. A detour to Ragogna Lake, perfect for a picnic, is recommended.

After the Cimano Bridge, it is worth a detour to Cornino Lake and the Nature Reserve, which is home to a nesting colony of griffon vultures.

The route runs at the foot of the hill of San Daniele. We recommend you climb the hill to visit the historic center to see the frescoed Church of St. Anthony Abbot and the Guarneriana Library from 1466.
San Daniele del Friuli can be reached by TPL FVG bus service (no bike transport service).
