Imagination on the Walls: Urban Art ItinerariesUrban Art Itineraries
Pordenone boasts a vibrant collection of murals that have transformed once-grey walls into open-air art galleries. In the heart of the city center stand iconic works such as The White Gorilla by Davide Toffolo, the giant bees by Giulio Masieri, and a writer-style Van Gogh created by Giuseppe Veneziano, one of Italy’s leading new pop artists.
Local and international artists have filled Pordenone with color, energy, and creativity, inviting residents and visitors alike to explore the many artworks scattered across walls, buildings, and neighborhoods.
In the Torre district, the “parade of giant animals” brings to life a truly unique artistic route. It all began during the lockdown, when Giulio Masieri painted a cat on the wall of his own building. From there, dogs, fish, bees, and other creatures followed, now populating the streets of Torre thanks to the “Anima le vie” (Bring the Streets to Life) project - turning entire buildings into stunning urban artworks.
