Eco&Salute is a cooperative society based in the Natisone Valleys, which manages various activities: first and foremost, research and development work and monitoring of the areas dedicated to carrying out the activities, as well as the training of operators and management of forest areas and the provision of medical treatments and adapted physical activities in the forest (Forest Therapy). Forest Therapy is an activity designed for patients and those suffering from a particular pathological condition and researchers and/or doctors; on the other hand, the Forest Baths are an activity open to all that takes place on paths or itineraries that are easy to follow, perfect for reconnecting with nature, discovering the territory and beauty of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Friuli Venezia Giulia is the perfect place for forest bathing, thanks to the dominant wind from the north-east, the Bora, which introduces air from the Austrian and Slovenian forests, keeping air pollution at bay.
The Valli del Natisone Forest Therapy Station in Friuli Venezia Giulia aims to help people in good health but also people going through periods of illness to obtain maximum psycho-physical benefits through contact and ‘immersion’ in the scents, colours, sounds of the forests and nature in general, primarily through the organisation of ‘Forest Baths.
