Departure from the PromoTurismoFVG Infopoint. From the traffic circle at the entrance to Piancavallo take the main asphalt road that descends towards Aviano. Immediately after, turn left taking the forest road near the electricity cabin for the Malghe Walk. The trail passes the access to the adventure park and enters a beech forest. Coming out of the forest, after about 100 meters you will meet a curve to the left. Here a short track to the right leaves the forest road to reach the lookout from which it is possible to admire the entire plain and the lagoon, on clear days.

Return to the forest road and shortly reach the Casera Collalt. Pass the shelter and immediately turn left following the CAI 990a trail markers. You immediately find yourself immersed again in the forest among beech trees, sinkholes and wide clearings. The pristine environment favors encounters with mountain wildlife.

The trail arrives in Collalto, at Via Policreti, which it crosses. Continue downhill to the service road for snow removal equipment storage.

Continue to the right until reaching Collalto Street. Continue left to re-enter Piazzale della Puppa.
