The Alto Cellina Geological route forms a loop starting from Pian de Cea and allows you to reach and observe some sites of interest within the field of earth sciences.
Pian de Crode is a vast area located between 900 and 950 m a.s.l. near the base of the northern slopes of Mounts Colon and Colciavath. Upwards it is bounded by rock walls and downwards by the course of the Cellina stream.
The Earth Pyramids are located on the lower part of the left Cellina slope in the valley stretch called Margons. They are particular landforms related to erosion of moraine deposits (of glacial origin) by running water.
The Landre Scur is the most significant cavity of the underground karst of the Frate and Ressetum massifs. It is characterized by the imposing entrance: 20 meters wide and equally high.
The Dinosaur footprints are located on a boulder lying in the bed of a small stream near Casera Casavento.
