Saisera Wild Track

If you are planning a trip out of town to admire our fantastic mountains but are not sure where to go, I’m sure the Saisera Wild Track will surprise you. It consists of a route 11 km long that runs along the Val Saisera as far as the north face of the Jôf di Montasio, and takes about 3 hours; there is virtually no difference in height, so it makes it a perfect hike even for unfit walkers.

Where the Wild Track begins there is a bar with adjacent parking where you can leave the car before starting your adventure. There are also mountain huts near the route that are easily and quickly accessible, as well as being welcoming and hospitable places where you can enjoy excellent local dishes.

Near the area of the “pierced rock”, you can visit the Parco tematico della Grande Guerra Abschnitt-Saisera (Great War theme park)which constitutes a tangible testimony of the sad events in our territory at the beginning of the last century.

So what is there left to say? Don’t waste any more time but get out and enjoy the spectacle of the Alpi Giulie, the Wild Track is waiting for you!
