This strip of land near the sea, set in the Karst not far from Trieste, is crossed by several paths, some of which follow the Austro-Hungarian lines of the Great War. Those of us who are fascinated by this sector and curious about what the place offers have followed some, but not before taking a photograph from close-to of the monument to the Lupi di Toscana near Duino-Aurisina.

Going towards the Villaggio del Pescatore we not the shipyard of Monfalcone and, still walking between one path and the next, we come across many caves from the Great War, outposts constructed of the Second World War and a varied vegetation, a spectacle that any area can rarely offer.
