The sea in winter. We recharge our batteries with a getaway in kayak under the Cliffs of Duino: rock faces that fall sheer to the water, blue sea, a small, lonely bay and only the cry of seagulls breaks the silence. And with a bit of luck we could see a peregrine falcon soaring above us. The Trieste coastline, a corner of paradise.
