Lis Neris

Lis Neris is located in a white wine paradise, near the city of Gorizia, between the Slovenian border to the north and the right bank of the Soča river to the south. Here, since 1879, several generations of the same family have contributed with their commitment and passion to building and growing one of the production companies that best represent eastern Friuli.
Today Alvaro Pecorari is at the helm of the company. He is behind the Lis Neris brand and the wines that identify the brand today.

The vineyards grow in the Soča Valley, where the hospitable soil lends complexity to the wines that grow there. The most mature vineyards, whose grapes are vinified separately according to the variety and origin, produce Premium Monovarietal Wines – Gris, Picol, Jurosa and La Vila. The cuvées are produced by blending different varieties and represent the producer's commitment to 'pathways' that enhance the terroir. Unique wines that express perfectly the balance between the grape varieties and the place of production.

Subject to reservation, you can visit the vineyard and cellar as well as enjoy tastings of Lis Neris wines and stay at the Wine Relais. The winery offers various local guided tours for visitors to travel around and broaden their experience of the peoples and culture of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
