Buon compleanno Pimpa!

Description

50 Years of a Dog Who's Always 5

To celebrate Pimpa, an icon of children's literature who has raised—and continues to raise—generations of readers, from October 25th to December 8th 2025.

Until December 8th, the exhibition "Happy Birthday Pimpa!" will be held in the former Church of San Francesco in Udine.

A great celebration for young readers, both male and female, who are the true stars of the exhibition. They will have the opportunity to enter Pimpa's house to play, read her books, and watch her cartoons. Thanks to interactive, illuminated islands, they will be able to interact with Altan's original drawings.

Even adults who grew up with Pimpa can revisit their childhood thanks to an unusual timeline dedicated to children's entertainment, in publishing and television, from the 1970s to today in Italy. Finally, the "Pimpa off" section explores the character's evolution as an icon of GenZ and a symbol of freedom and inclusivity.

Opening on Saturday, October 25th at 11:00 a.m. in the former Church of San Francesco.

Hours:
Tuesday to Friday 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.; 2:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 9:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
