Bike Night is an event that unites cycling, passion and people. Every time from Udine to Ugovizza it is always a surprise: from the bridleway to the former railway, km after km a true team spirit is created among the hundreds of cyclists. In 2025 it returns with the ninth edition: how many of you will be?
The Alpe Adria Bike Night will take you cycling on one of the most beautiful cycle paths in Italy: the route follows the Alpe Adria Cycle Path which for the first few kilometres coincides with the bridleway that leads from Udine to Buja. The terrain of the bridleway is suitable for mountain bikes and trekking bikes, with some cobblestone sections. Once you arrive in Gemona you ride along the cycle path built on the old railway tracks: a true journey back in time, thanks to the presence of old traffic lights, tunnels, railway stations now transformed into refreshment points and hostels.
For the tenth edition of the Bike Night project in Friuli Venezia-Giulia, a route through woods and historic villages awaits you, which will gently take you to the Alps. 100 km for a unique Bike Night: in Udine the Departure Village awaits you in Piazza Libertà, then three refreshment points and breakfast upon arrival at the ancient Ugovizza station. Mechanical and mechanical assistance is always guaranteed, and backpack transport upon arrival.
We recommend racing bikes with at least 26″ tires or mountain bikes: the route has about 30 km of dirt road.
