In Sistiana Bay (Duino Aurisina, Trieste), set within the natural surroundings of the protected Cliffs Nature Park, between the Sistiana Marina and the village of Portopiccolo, the Parco Caravella and Cohiba beaches offer the perfect setting for a holiday or a relaxing day by the sea, surrounded by lush greenery, sunshine and crystal-clear waters.

The Parco Caravella and Cohiba beaches – entirely rocky or pebbled, giving the sea its exceptional colours and crystal-clear waters – are equipped with all the facilities for a comfortable beach experience, including beach cabins, private areas with two sun loungers and a parasol, showers, changing rooms and a large car park. All services are available both for daily use and seasonal passes.

A beach for every need

• Falesie Beach – The historic beach beneath the cliffs, ideal for those seeking peace, quiet and privacy.
• Central Beach – A spacious beach perfect for spending a day in the sun or shade, with a beach bar, snack service and a children's play area.
• Family Beach – Designed for families with children, located next to the playground and the sandy beach, providing easier access to the sea.
• Bau Beach – A well-shaded area for guests wishing to enjoy the beach with their dog, featuring spacious, well-separated and fenced areas equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
• Cohiba – The historic seaside beach bar, located near the entrance to Portopiccolo, offers a newly renovated beach with 32 exclusive beach areas, sun lounger service, a bar and a restaurant.

The Parco Caravella Sports Area features two professional beach volleyball courts for up to 12 players, made with competition-grade sand. Visitors can also join beginner, intermediate and advanced courses led by qualified instructors.
With A-Mare Yoga, Vinyasa yoga sessions take place every Tuesday and Thursday in the late afternoon.
Through Fairplay Sistiana ASD, visitors can rent SUP boards, single and double kayaks, and pedal boats, or take individual or group SUP lessons with certified instructors.
The programme also includes SUP Tours and SUP Yoga, where Vinyasa yoga is practised on a paddleboard, creating a unique balance between body, mind and breath while immersed in nature.

Parco Caravella is more than just beaches and sports. It also offers a bar, pizzeria and restaurant, serving a wide selection of sandwiches, fresh salads, pizzas and delicious fried seafood right by the sea.
Cohiba, in addition to an extensive cocktail menu featuring international classics and a carefully selected wine list ranging from the Colli Orientali and Carso wine regions to renowned French sparkling wines from the Loire, Alsace, Burgundy and Bordeaux, serves a variety of seafood specialities, including fried seafood, tuna, sea bass and salmon tartare, scampi platters and shrimp tempura.
The gastronomic offering is completed by a wide selection of pizzas, appetisers and snacks, served either at your table by the sea or directly to your sun lounger, always accompanied by relaxing background music.
Every Sunday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, to celebrate the golden hour, Cohiba hosts a DJ set with The Smooth Operator, serving refreshing drinks and a menu specially designed for the sunset aperitif atmosphere.

For lovers of dancing, music and nightlife, BASE Club Experience—the historic venue formerly known as Cantera, just a few steps from the sea—has been completely renovated to meet the expectations of younger guests and their families from Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The club welcomes a diverse clientele of all ages, offering music for every taste. Among its highlights is a state-of-the-art LED lighting system that creates spectacular light shows perfectly synchronised with the music.
