In Forni di Sopra, unique emotions with snowshoes to discover Friuli Venezia Giulia's enchanting mountains.
Departure: in Chiandarens, about 2 Km uphill of Forni di Sopra, look for the signs to the Giaf Alpine Hut.
Difficulty: forest trail only - low difficulty
Difference in height: about 500 m
Signs: CAI 346, keep on the forest trail and do not turn into the path.
You will reach the
Giaf Alpine Hut, at a height of 1405 metres, through an easy and well-marked route. You will just have to follow the
forest trail and enjoy the walk in the wonderful mountain setting of
Forni di Sopra. The itinerary starts uphill, in
Chiandarens.
